“Everything in nature invites us constantly to be what we are.”

Depending on how it is layered up and compressed during installation, Marmorino has a multitude of ways that it can be finished. Our gallery also shows an example of textured marmorino, but on this page, here is an example of how marmorino can burnished by a trowel in order to achieve a mid-sheen finish.
First of all, Marmorino is a mixture of lime putty and fine marble quartz flour. This material is then tinted with pigments to achieve any colour you desire to compliment your project.
As you can see below, this product is very effective when burnishing up with the addition of grey tones in order to achieve polished concrete.
As this finish is achieved by heavily compressing the final coat, the result is a very tough surface, capable of taking a pretty hard knock with little damage.
We finish the procedure with a protection wax, which allows it to be suitable for most applications.
Marmorino Venetian plaster produces zero volatile organic compounds and is a sustainable product. The Marble flour is a waste byproduct from quarries.
