Archi+ Pietra is a very textured finish in itself.

Its characteristics come from the composition of hydraulic lime, aerial lime and carefully selected aggregates.
Archi+ Pietra, this real earthy material, can be subdivided once again into heavy and extremely heavy texture, where the extreme texture (Intonaco) has larger aggregate in the material.
With its pits, drags and bursts of pearlescent flake, anyone searching for an earthy, middle-eastern feel, need not look any further.

Pietra’s popularity of recent, is largely due to the high demand of materials that are proving to be incredibly durable, breathable and sustainable. Its durability comes from the fact that it is trowelled on in layers, and then burnished to create a hardened, solid surface. Once dry, the high lime content gives Pietra the ability to absorb excess moisture, bacteria and mould spores, improving air quality. This can be a god send for anyone with allergies or respiratory problems.

Like most materials in the Venetian plaster family, Pietra can be tinted to any colour or tone. this can either be a uniform colour that can be colour washed and aged. Or as pictured below, can look fantastic as a three-tone finish.
